Evening Show
The Calgary Stampede Evening Show is a spectacular event that takes place during the Calgary Stampede, which is held annually in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Stampede Powwow
JULY 7 & 8, 2024 1 - 6 p.m.
The Stampede Powwow is a vibrant and colorful celebration of Indigenous culture and dance that takes place during the Calgary Stampede. Held in the Indian Village, the powwow features a series of traditional dance competitions, as well as drumming and singing contests. It is a showcase of Indigenous heritage and a celebration of community and connection, bringing together people from different backgrounds and cultures to share in the joy and beauty of dance, song, and tradition.
The powwow competitions are the highlight of the event, featuring a range of dance styles and categories such as the Men’s Fancy Dance, Women’s Jingle Dance, and Men’s Grass Dance.
