Fifteen standout high school volleyball players, who have led their teams to exceptional seasons so far, make up the MaxPreps National Player of the Year watch list.
These athletes are competing to join past winners like Lexi Sun (2016), Kenzie Knuckles (2018), Paige Flickinger (2019), Elia Rubin (2021), and Lauren Harden (2023), as recipients of this prestigious honor.

Henley Anderson, Dripping Springs (Texas)
Outside Hitter | 6-3 | Class of 2026 | Committed to Texas
With 393 kills (4.2 per set) and a 44% kill rate, Anderson has been a dominant force for the 35-2 Tigers, ranked No. 9 in the MaxPreps Top 25. She also boasts 335 serve receptions, 240 digs, 41 aces, and 22 blocks.
Gentry Barker, Lovejoy (Lucas, Texas)
Outside Hitter | 5-10 | Class of 2027 | Uncommitted
Barker leads Lovejoy with 285 kills (3.3 per set) and hits at nearly 30%. A MaxPreps Freshman All-American, she has 421 serve receptions, 301 digs, and 29 aces for her 23-7 team, ranked No. 18 nationally.
Logan Bell, Roncalli (Indianapolis, Ind.)
Outside Hitter | 5-10 | Class of 2025 | Committed to Oregon
Bell has propelled Roncalli to an unbeaten season, registering 195 kills (3.4 per set) with a 42% kill rate. She has also contributed 189 serve receptions, 154 digs, and 38 aces for the No. 5 team in the country.
Suliane Davis, Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, Texas)
Outside Hitter | 6-2 | Class of 2025 | Committed to BYU
Ranked fifth nationally with 526 kills, Davis averages 6.7 kills per set with a 36% hit rate. She leads her team with 484 serve receptions and has 360 digs for the 24-5 Panthers.
Maggie Dostic, Plant (Tampa, Fla.)
Outside Hitter | 6-1 | Class of 2025 | Committed to Tennessee
Dostic has powered the unbeaten Plant squad, No. 10 in the MaxPreps Top 25, with 184 kills at a 30% hit rate. She also has 86 digs, 31 aces, and 18 blocks, helping her team defend their Class 7A state title.
Megan Fitch, Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, Texas)
Outside Hitter | 6-1 | Class of 2025 | Committed to Texas A&M
As the primary hitter for a national-schedule team, Fitch has racked up 315 kills, 423 serve receptions, and 258 digs, leading Cornerstone Christian through a demanding season with stops in Arizona, Hawaii, and Nevada.
Audrey Flanagan, Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, Calif.)
Outside Hitter | 6-3 | Class of 2026 | Committed to Wisconsin
Flanagan leads her team with 253 kills (5.5 per set) as Mira Costa faces a national schedule and a tough Southern California competition. She also has 223 serve receptions, 106 digs, and 18 blocks.
Campbell Flynn, Mercy (Farmington Hills, Mich.)
Setter | 6-2 | Class of 2025 | Committed to Nebraska
Flynn, a Michigan Miss Volleyball candidate, has guided Mercy to an unbeaten start and a No. 19 national ranking. She has tallied 242 assists, 61 digs, 50 kills, and 16 blocks.
Kylie Kleckner, Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, Texas)
Outside Hitter | 6-0 | Class of 2026 | Committed to Washington
Kleckner, Byron Nelson’s top hitter, is hitting 32% and has amassed 360 kills (5.1 per set) as her team seeks its second state title. She has taken on a leadership role after the loss of a senior to injury.
Lindsey Mangelson, Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, Ind.)
Outside Hitter | 6-2 | Class of 2025 | Committed to Mississippi State
Mangelson has been a key player for Hamilton Southeastern, with 383 kills, 37 aces, 240 serve receptions, 151 digs, and 37 blocks as her team pushes for a third consecutive state title.
Layli Ostovar, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.)
Outside Hitter | 5-11 | Class of 2026 | Committed to USC
Last year’s MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year, Ostovar has notched 128 kills in 40 sets despite resting a shoulder injury earlier in the season. She has also contributed 157 serve receptions and 120 digs for the top-ranked Monarchs.
Macaria Spears, Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas)
Outside Hitter | 6-3 | Class of 2025 | Committed to Texas
One of the sport’s most powerful hitters, Spears has delivered 410 kills (6.1 per set) with a 38% hit rate. She has also added 153 digs, 32 blocks, and 22 aces for her 23-2 team, ranked No. 4 in the MaxPreps Top 25.
Lynney Tarnow, Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.)
Outside Hitter | 6-5 | Class of 2026 | Committed to Wisconsin
Tarnow leads No. 3-ranked Benet Academy with 100 kills and 35 blocks. Her team, 18-0, has only been pushed to a third set once this season.
Madison Quest, Divine Savior Holy Angels (Milwaukee, Wis.)
Outside Hitter | 6-3 | Class of 2025 | Committed to Wisconsin
Quest has led the unbeaten Dashers (28-0) with 236 kills (38% hit rate), along with 198 serve receptions, 138 digs, and 39 blocks as her team aims to defend its Division I title.
Charlotte Vinson, Yorktown (Ind.)
Outside Hitter | 6-2 | Class of 2025 | Committed to Indiana
After recovering from a life-threatening illness in the spring, Vinson has made an impressive comeback with 166 kills in 43 sets (3.9 per set) for the 21-2 Yorktown Tigers.
