The Spalding Hoophall Classic returns for its 23rd year as the premier event in high school basketball, showcasing top talent from across the country in Springfield, Mass., the birthplace of basketball and home of the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Taking place over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend from January 16-20 at Blake Arena on the Springfield College campus, this year’s event promises high-stakes matchups and the nation’s top-ranked teams and players.

Nine of the top 10 recruits from the Class of 2025 are set to appear, including Utah Prep’s A.J. Dybantsa, Cameron Boozer of Columbus (Miami, Fla.)—who has committed to Duke—Darryn Peterson from Prolific Prep (Napa, Calif.), Nate Ament of Highland (Warrenton, Va.), Caleb Wilson of Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, Ga.), Koa Peat of Perry (Gilbert, Ariz.), Chris Cenac of Link Academy (Branson, Mo.), Darius Acuff of IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), and Isiah Harwell of Wasatch Academy (Mt. Pleasant, Utah).

Top recruits from the Class of 2026 will also compete, including Brandon McCoy of St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.), Tyran Stokes from Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Calif.), Caleb Holt from Grayson (Loganville, Ga.), Caleb Gaskins of Columbus, and Dylan Mingo of Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.).

Highlight games include Columbus facing off against Perry, Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) taking on Roosevelt (Eastvale, Calif.), Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) versus Utah Prep, Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.) against St. John Bosco, and Long Island Lutheran facing AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Ariz.).
